Birmingham-based business FeeLYX have been shortlisted for the semi-final of the programme alongside 32 other companies from across the UK. The financial analysis company fought off tough competition to be shortlisted as one of three companies in the Midlands to go through to the semi-finals of the contest.
They will get the chance to pitch on the National Rising Stars programme over two days in January from 16th-17th at the Barclays Eagle Labs in Manchester. If successful, they will be one of 20 companies heading to the final in March 2019, which will be held at London’s Rich Mix.
After continuous hard work and dedication during the past two years especially, the team at FeeLYX was delighted to be shortlisted and have its efforts recognised on a national scale. Founder, Joel Blake OBE, said:
“The team and I are stoked! We have been burrowing away in the background for the past two years, building our vision to disrupt financial lending support for small businesses.
“We’re incredibly excited to be able to have the opportunity to pitch in January and take FeeLYX to the next level in 2019 and beyond.”
FeeLYX was founded in 2015, having created AI software that reduces the time and cost it takes financial lenders to complete their financial due diligence.
They have since been working to ensure that their offering enables financial services companies to make more informed decisions on how to increase revenues and grow their business.
The FeeLYX team will be looking to prove to Tech Nation that their software is one of the best out there in the UK and hoping to win a bespoke package of support worth over £4,000. The prize includes 1-2-1 mentoring with a high-profile mentor, introductions to investors, bespoke PR campaigns and plenty more.
We wish the team the best of luck – everyone here at Silicon Canal will be rooting for you next month!
