We work with the West Midlands Combined Authority to support women and non-binary folks in the West Midlands to start their career in tech.
200 fully funded spaces are available for women and non-binary folks based in the West Midlands to complete an in depth, industry standard programme in Software or Data.
Our Women in Software and Women in Data Academies have been crafted based on real-world skill requirements, considering skill-gaps, to ensure that our graduates are ready to be employed. Our students will be equipped with a blend of technical and personal skills.
Both courses are open to women of all levels, any technical or career background including returners to tech. This is for women of all ages who are looking to begin or change to a career in Data Engineering or Software Engineering.
On our course our students have a real tutor with scheduled lessons and virtual face to face meetings, be in a community of likeminded people, and at the end of the course our graduates will be supported in finding a job with one of our industry partners, such as, Dyson, Deloitte, Malvern Panalytical and many more.
The courses are currently taught remotely full or part time, our offices are at Brindley Place in Birmingham.
