The West Midlands Academic Health Science Network (WMAHSN) will lead, catalyse and drive co-operation, collaboration and productivity and accelerate the adoption of innovation to generate continuous improvement in the region’s health and wealth. While many industries have embraced digital technology – which has brought about massive changes to our working lives and the way we interact with other people and organisations - the health and care sector has yet to fully capitalise on these opportunities. WMAHSN seeks to spread the adoption at scale and pace of digital health innovations. Through collaborative partnerships with industry, academia, patients, the public and the NHS, it is our ambition to make the West Midlands the UK’s first truly digital health economy. If your company wants to develop new tools and services that have the potential to save lives, improve patient and population health and care outcomes and create wealth within the West Midlands, there is no better partner to provide rapid evaluation and adoption of innovative digital healthcare services.
