This week Silicon Canal had it’s 4th Birthday, of when we officially registered the company as a CIC on companies house.

For those of you that don’t know, we are connecting, promoting and supporting individuals and businesses in technology in the West Midlands.

In 4 years we have done an awful lot: we have over 400 companies registered to our directory, more than 70 meetups listed on our website and a whole host of volunteer ambassadors, who want to help out and shout about our community. We have hired our first employee, our tech drinks has grown to a record number, with 90 people in attendance last week and we have now been running the tech awards for over 3 years.

Want to get involved and help us with our mission?

Get in touch with our Community Engagement Officer, Molly Thompson, to have a chat to see  how you can get involved 🙂

We’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has supported us on our journey so far!
