Mark O’Sullivan, multiple business owner, serial entrepreneur, co-founder of Birmingham Tech Week and previous winner of Angel or Seed Investor of the Year will be a judge at this years’ Silicon Canal Tech Awards.

 

Mark is involved in many sectors including the fresh produce, recruitment- creative sector, digital, tech and retail industries. Mark is MD of BanaBay, they are global growers and exporters of a variety of premium fruits direct from plantation to retail and wholesale customers.  Mark is also the co-owner and Commercial director of Purely Plantain Chips, a strategic business adviser and shareholder in Heylus and the COO for Woodbarn. Mark also holds trustee positions for Midlands charities including WAITS (Women In Today’s society) and Free@Last. He is extremely passionate about giving back to the Midlands and utilising his network to the benefit of these organisations. He is a director of Birmingham Tech Week and TAG Network Midlands and he is part of the leadership committee for his BNI Sunrise group. Mark is an ambassador team for the MBCC awards in addition to existing roles. Mark also won the Entrepreneur of the Year award at the Nachural Awards earlier this year and is nominated at this time for Man of the Year at the City of Birmingham Business Awards and Business Man of the Year for the Birmingham Awards.
