There is not long to go till our annual summer BBQ event. This year marks a major change as are partnering with Fazeley Events, The Custard Factory and also the BBC Academy’s Digital Cities week. The evening promises to be a great evening of networking featuring the Silicon Canal Working Group leaders and also guests from our inaugural ‘Sink or Swim’ investment event!
In the run up to event, we will be featuring profiles of each working group leader, investor and more. Keep checking the blog for new profile.
Our first profile features Olli Hills, founder of Zento Pics and our ‘Who’s Here Working Group’ leader.
“The aim of our group is to help promote the number of companies involved with Silicon Canal and help to connect them for collaboration.”
Ollie is an Image recognition tech entrepreneur. His company Zento provides point of sweat metrics to major sports brands about exactly who is wearing their product. Zento is also advancing the field of facial recognition systems, so they are definitely a company to watch out for in the future.
We asked Olli, why people should get involved in Silicon Canal.
“Silicon Canal is fantastic for building your network and meeting like-minded individuals who can help solve problems and accelerate your business”
